MANISTEE CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MINUTES OF MARCH 8, 2011 The Manistee City Council met in a work session on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 7: 00 p.m., Council Chambers, City Hall, 70 Maple Street, Manistee MI 49660. MEMBERS PRESENT: Richard Mack, Catherine Zaring, Ed Cote, Bob Hornkohl, Alan Marshall, Colleen Kenny MEMBERS ABSENT: Ilona Haydon OTHERS PRESENT: Department Directors, Public and Media Council Strategic Plan. The Alliance for Economic Success previously discussed current Council strategic goals, input from the new normal presentation, community forums, and OSAC recommendations with Council. This information was compiled and presented to Council this evening for review and discussion. The information gathered this evening will be compiled by the AES Office. Staff will then need to establish action items for individual Council goals. Will be presented to Council after this step has been taken. Discussion on Assessing White Paper. City Manager Mitch Deisch delivered copies of the white paper at the March 1, 2011 Council meeting. He presented a Powerpoint presentation on the study this evening.
