MANISTEE CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MINUTES OF JUNE 14, 2016 The Manistee City Council met in a work session on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 7: 00 p.m., Council Chambers, City Hall, 70 Maple Street, Manistee, Michigan 49660. MEMBERS PRESENT: Colleen Kenny, Lynda Beaton, Roger Zielinski, Robert Goodspeed, James Smith, Eric Gustad, Mark Wittlieff MEMBERS ABSENT: ALSO PRESENT: City Manager, Department Directors, DDA, Media, Public Public Comments. None Discussion on Downtown Development Authority. City Manager Thad Taylor and DDA Acting Director Jeff Reau discussed with Council the status of the DDA Director Search, DDA organizational structure, and funding. CONSENSUS: City Council directed staff to continue discussions with the DDA on TIF renewal. Update on CSO Discussions. City Manager Thad Taylor, DPW Director Jeff Mikula and City Engineer Shawn Middleton updated Council on recent discussions regarding the City' s last remaining CSO.
