MEETING OF JUNE 20, 2023
A special meeting of the Manistee Harbor Commission was called to order by the Chair on
Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 1:02 p.m. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 70 Maple Street,
Manistee MI 49660.

• America’s Great Loop Cruisers’ Association (AGLCA) website
➢ Provide a write-up on their website about the Manistee Harbor/Municipal Marina

➢ Ability to track inquiries about Manistee Harbor/Marina from their site?
• Commercial Slips on Seawall
➢ Manistee Inn and Marina short-term rental boat docking? – Will check with Marina
Manger
➢ Carefree Boat Club – next season have them at this location with boat rentals? – Will
check with Marina Manger
• Marina Building Upgrades
➢ Painting should be finished by end of day Thursday, June 22. Once painting is done will
begin decorating.

o Dockwa – working through the free month – dashboard provides lead information,
boaters can leave comments/feedback, and they will provide assistance on attracting
and retaining customers.
