OldBusiness: AdoptaPark –AttheCityCouncilmeetingonApril15,2014theAdoptaParkProgramwas acceptedbyallcouncilmembers. TheCommissionwouldliketohelptheParksDepartmentinanywaytheycanaslongasitstays withintheguidelinesandproceduresoftheCommission. Wewouldalsolikeanupdatefrom Mikulaoftheprogram. MortonPark –ZielinskimentionedwantingtablesattheparkandScottwantedtoasktheRed SchoolHouseDayCareiftheyhadanyideasofwhattheywanttoseehavehappenwiththe park.Vasquezmentionedforthenextmeetingtocomewithideasforthepark. RoundAbouton1st Street –VasquezcalledChamberofCommerceandtheboardgaveupthe funding. Therearenoplansofrightnowgoingforwardforthisproject. OrdinanceChapter289,Sec.09update - Vasquezreademailsthatweresentbackandforward betweenthecitymanager, Mr.Deisch,thecitymanager’sexecutiveassistant, CindyLokovich explainingamotionneedstobemadefromtheParkscommissiontohavethesectionremoved.
