City of Manistee Parks Commission Minutes Thursday, February 21, 2019 Members Present: Erin Pontiac, Stephen Spencer, Lani Rozga, Mark Tomaszewski Members Excused: Members Unexcused: Kipp Pomranky, Tom Swedenborg, Frank Cardella Also Present: Mickey McCann A regular meeting of the Manistee Parks Commission was held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at City Hall 2nd floor conference room. Meeting was called to order by Chair Erin Pontiac at 5:35 p.m. Approval of Agenda Motion by Rozga, second by Tomaszewski to approve agenda. All in favor. Citizen/Public Comment None Approval of Minutes Motion by Rozga, second by Tomaszewski to approve January 17, 2019 minutes. All in favor. Correspondence None Committee Reports None Old Business Broomball event was cancelled due to lack of participation, it was brought up that we try to do the event again next year and try to do a collaboration with one of the Chamber Groups. New Business Rozga mentioned we should apply to local revenue sharing board for AED’s for our beaches. Motion by Rozga, second by Tomaszewski to adjourn at 6:14 p.m. All in favor. Next meeting date – March 21, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. in the second floor conference room.
