1. Call to Order
Present: 6- Nickels, Koski, Reed-Kadow, Reckelberg, Lynch and Nycz
Absent: 2- Brey and Vanderkin
2. Appeal for Abatement of Nuisance Parks Forestry Assessment
22-0929 Abatement of nuisance for forestry assessment appeal from Don Klein for
property at 1263 S. 31st St.
Property owner was present to explain the reason for their appeal.
Moved by Reed-Kadow, seconded by Koski, to offer the property owner either the
5-year or 10-year installment plan with interest. The motion carried by the
following vote:
Aye: 6- Nickels, Koski, Reed-Kadow, Reckelberg, Lynch and Nycz
Clerk's note: property owner was present and requested the 5-year installment plan
3. Quotes for Combination Jetter Vac Truck, QE-22-8
City Clerk reported having received one (1) quote. Same was opened and
accepted and is as follows:
Brown Equipment Company, $504,695.40
Clerk's note: Second quote was returned to City Hall before deadline and
opened and referred to Director of Public Infrastructure:
Macqueen Equipment, $483,857
Moved by Reed-Kadow, seconded by Lynch, to refer the quotes to the director of
Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. The motion carried by
the following vote:

4. Change Orders
City Clerk submitted the following change order or approval:

WS-22-14, +$22,766.40
Moved by Koski, seconded by Lynch, that the change order be approved. The
motion carried by the following vote:

City Clerk submitted the following City Engineer's estimates for approval
and payment:

given to the public, to the Herald-Times-Reporter, the official newspaper of
Manitowoc, and to those news media who have filed a written request for this notice
that a meeting of the above-referenced will be held at the date, time and location
listed above.
Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Common Council of the City of
Manitowoc, or a standing committee of that body, may be present at this meeting to
gather information about the subject matter over which they have decision making
responsibility.
This meeting is being conducted both in Council Chambers at City Hall and via Zoom
to maximize opportunities for residents to attend. Members of the public may call to
