Call to Order Council President Jill Hennessey called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. 2. Roll Call Present: 8- Howe, Able, Hennessey, Sladky, Brey, Martell, Sitkiewitz and Soeldner Absent: 3- McMeans, Schema and Nickels Also present: Interim City Attorney Kathleen McDaniel, Human Resources Generalist Jeri Johnson and Deputy Clerk Deborah Neuser. 3. Public Comment None. Notice is hereby given that the above governmental body may adjourn into a closed session during the meeting as authorized by Section 19.85(1)(c) of the Wisconsin Statutes, which authorizes the governmental body to convene in closed session for the purpose of considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. The specific subject matter that may be considered in closed session is: Job Performance of City Planner. Moved by Sladky, seconded by Martell, and carried on roll call to convene in closed session. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 6- Howe, Hennessey, Sladky, Martell, Sitkiewitz and Soeldner Nay: 2- Able and Brey Alderpersons Schema and McMeans arrived at 5:20 p.m. Present: 10 - Howe, McMeans, Able, Hennessey, Sladky, Brey, Martell, Sitkiewitz, Soeldner and Schema Absent: 1- Nickels 4. RECONVENE IN OPEN SESSION Moved by McMeans, seconded by Schema, and carried on roll call to reconvene in open session. Aye: 10 - Howe, McMeans, Able, Hennessey, Sladky, Brey, Martell, Sitkiewitz, Soeldner and Schema Alderperson Able and Schema left after the closed session. Alderperson Howe left during open session at 7:35 p.m. Present: 7- McMeans, Hennessey, Sladky, Brey, Martell, Sitkiewitz and Soeldner Absent: 4- Howe, Able, Schema and Nickels 14-143 Carlson/Dettman recommendation of job grades and proposed wage table. Representative from Carlson Dettman felt strongly that the Mayor needs to attend this discussion. Therefore, this item will be rescheduled. 14-145 Structure of Planning Office. Alderperson Soeldner provided the Committee with a preliminary reorganization of the Planning Department for beginning discussion. Discussions with the County are taking place regarding providing GIS services for the City. 14-144 Structure of Attorney and Human Resources office. Alderperson Soeldner also provided a proposal to restructure the HR/ Attorney office as a starting point for discussion. 7. Adjournment Moved by Brey, seconded by Sladky, that this meeting be adjourned at 7:43 p.m..
