Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Common Council of the City of Manitowoc may be present at this meeting to gather information about the subject matter over which they have decision making responsibility. The above governmental body will meet to discuss and possibly take action on the agenda items set forth below. 1. Call to Order D. Soeldner called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. (Late start due to prior Common Council meeting) 2. Roll Call Present: 5- Soeldner, Brey, Schema, Hennessey and Brandel 3. Approval of Minutes 15-1049 Approval of Minutes from the September 8th, 2015 Public Infrastructure Meeting. Discussion and Action Items City of Manitowoc Page 1 Public Infrastructure Committee Meeting Minutes October 5, 2015 15-1046 Sidewalk Complaints and Vision Triangle Ordinance. Soeldner said he wanted to discuss the vision triangle as a constituent in his neighborhood received a complaint about a bush on his corner lot causing visual restrictions. He said that this area is a lightly traveled area and thought it might be a good idea to review the Ordinance regarding the visual triangle at a future meeting. D. Koski said the LPI Committee would need to be involved with future discussions and Ordinance changes. The Committee recommended looking into what other policies are enforced in other surrounding cities and bringing back to a future meeting. This Request was discussed 15-1045 2016-2017 Local Road Improvement Program - Staff recommendation to submit application for funding of East and West Crescent Drive. The Committee recommended apply for funding for 2016-2017 Local Road Improvement Program pending bicycle lane exemption. Accepted for Consent Agenda. Attachments: 20150930095719638.pdf A motion was made by Vice Chair Jim Brey, seconded by Alderperson Allan Schema, to approve applying for funding for 2016-2017 pending bicycle lane exemption. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Soeldner, Brey, Schema, Hennessey and Brandel 15-1044 Public Works Petition for permanent paving, sidewalks, storm and sanitary sewers and other public utilities to be installed on property abutting on Hecker Road, as described therein, and shown on the attached map (Parcel #010-035-012-008.00).
