New Business 17-0998 Request for second batch of judgements to be authorized for expungement by TiPSS software program. Attachments: Alder Able-PSC Ltr 11 17 15 Alder Howe Ltr 09 26 17 Citation Report Totals Council Document 15-907 TIPSS Proposal Moved by Czekala, seconded by Lotz, that this Request be approved and referred to council. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Howe, Soeldner, Czekala, Novak and Lotz 17-1020 Request for "No Parking" signs to be placed on the west side of North 8th Street from Eck Industries driveway for 100 feet to the south. Recommending to approve the request. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Howe, Soeldner, Czekala, Novak and Lotz City of Manitowoc Page 3 Public Safety Committee Meeting Minutes October 9, 2017 17-1021 Discussion regarding the bond schedule amount for Ordinance 14.020(12) Attacking or Biting Dog, Cat or Other Creature. Recommending ordinance increasing fine to $212. Attachments: Draft Ordinance 14.020(12) JUDGE OLSON'S RECOMMENDATION Ordinance 14.020 REIMER EMAIL - CURRENT FINE AMOUNT Discussion took place amongst Chief Nick Reimer, Alderperson Brey and the Public Safety Committee regarding what would be an appropriate forfeiture amount. A motion was made to accept Judge Olson's recommendation to change the forfeiture amount to $120.00 plus court costs for a total of $212.20. Moved by Czekala, seconded by Soeldner, that this Ordinance be amended and referred to Council. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Howe, Soeldner, Czekala, Novak and Lotz 6. Old Business 17-0911 Status of 10 properties the Mayor identified as subject to acquisition and demolition. Attachments: DC Gregg Kadow Memo re blight properties 8292017 Memo re Ownership of Blighted Properties This item will remain on the agenda for updates as needed per Alderperson Howe. 7.
