6. Discussion and Action Items - New Business
19-0884 Manitowoc Sex Offender Residency Board Appeal for Craig Erdman.
Moved by Czekala, seconded by Lotz, that this Request be approved and referred
to council. The motion carried by the following vote:

19-0885 Ordinance to amend Section 18.120 of the Manitowoc Municipal Code
regulating Electrical Code.

Assistant City Attorney Liz Majerus explained the recent changes of our
electrical code were submitted to the state and this amendment addresses
the few revisions the state requested.
Moved by Lotz, seconded by Williams, that this Ordinance be adopted and
referred to Council. The motion carried by the following vote:

19-0886 Removal of No Parking restrictions on South 17th Street from Washington
Street to Marshall Street.

Engineering Division Manager Greg Minikel explained South 17th Street
was reconstructed this year and was widened to 36 feet. Since the street
has been widened, engineering staff feels the no parking restrictions can
be removed.

Notice is hereby given that the above governmental body may adjourn into a closed session during
the meeting as authorized by Section 19.85(1)(g) of the Wisconsin Statutes, which authorizes the
governmental body to convene in closed session for the purpose of conferring with legal counsel for
the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by
the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved.
The specific subject matter that may be considered in closed session is:

Edgewater Plaza).

Alderperson Howe read the Notice to go into closed session. Moved by Czekala, second by Lotz, to
convene in closed session. The motion carried on roll call vote by the following vote: Aye: 4 - Howe,

19-0892 Discussion regarding 700 East Magnolia Avenue (Lakeshore Edgewater
Plaza).
