Moved by Reckelberg, seconded by Beeman, that this Request be approved and referred to Council. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Schlei, Vanderkin, Beeman, Boldt and Reckelberg 22-0031 Resolution for 2022 Building Inspection Fees. Attachments: Res for 2022 Building Inspection Fees.pdf BI Fee Structure Documentation This resolution presents a slight increase in fees related to building inspection permits as well as establish a fee schedule for code enforcement inspections. An explanatory memo outlining the cost of sample projects should be provided and attached to the file prior to the January 17th, 2022 Common Council meeting. Moved by Schlei, seconded by Reckelberg, that this Resolution be approved and referred to Council. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Schlei, Vanderkin, Beeman, Boldt and Reckelberg 22-0032 Ordinance to amend 16.070 of the MMC regulating razing of buildings. Moved by Boldt, seconded by Beeman, that this Action Item be approved and referred to Council. Convene in Closed Session A motion was made by Todd Reckelberg, seconded by Tim Boldt, to convene in closed session. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Schlei, Vanderkin, Beeman, Boldt and Reckelberg City of Manitowoc Page 3 Public Safety Committee Meeting Minutes January 10, 2022 Notice is hereby given that the above governmental body may adjourn into a closed session during the meeting as authorized by Section 19.85(1)(f) of the Wisconsin Statutes, which authorizes the governmental body to convene in closed session for the purpose of considering financial, medical, social or personal histories or disciplinary data of specific persons, preliminary consideration of specific personnel problems or the investigation of charges against specific persons except where par. (b) applies which, if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of any person referred to in such histories or data, or involved in such problems or investigations. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Schlei, Vanderkin, Beeman, Boldt and Reckelberg 22-0034 LifeQuest hardship request, call 182A-21-3691. A motion was made to rescind the bill based on the recommendation from LifeQuest. Moved by Reckelberg, seconded by Beeman, that this Request be approved and referred to Council. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Schlei, Vanderkin, Beeman, Boldt and Reckelberg 22-0035 LifeQuest hardship request, call 182A-21-4407. A motion was made to reduce the outstanding bill by 75 percent based on the recommendation of LifeQuest. Moved by Schlei that this Request be approved and referred to Council. A motion was made to rescind the bill based on the recommendation from LifeQuest. Moved by Schlei, seconded by Boldt, that this Request be approved and referred to Council. This meeting is being conducted both in Council Chambers at City Hall and via Zoom to maximize opportunities for residents to attend.
