Discussion and Action Items 22-0857 1304 Michigan Avenue - brush over the alleyway between North 13th Street and North 14th Street. Attachments: Issue 13108 - photo 2 Issue 13108 - photo 4 1304 Michigan Ave. communication A motion was made for the City Building Inspection and Forestry departments to work with the property owner to take care of the issue by November 30, 2022. If the issue isn't resolved it should be brought back to Public Safety. Moved by Reckelberg, seconded by Kaderabek, that this Communication be accepted. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Schlei, Reckelberg, Vanderkin, Kaderabek and Boldt 22-0858 Traffic concern on Wildwood Drive during Lutheran High School sporting events. Attachments: CHAPTER_8_3.___BICYCLES__E_BIKES__AND_ELECTRIC_PERS ONAL_ASSISTIVE_MOBILITY_DEVICES E-Bike communication Police Chief Reimer made a recommendation to have the Assistant City Attorney review the City Two Rivers ordinance regulating bicycles, E-bike, and Electric Personal Assistive Mobility Devices and draft an ordinance for the City of Manitowoc. A motion was made to approve this recommendation and to bring the ordinance back to the Public Safety Committee. Moved by Reckelberg, seconded by Boldt, that this Request be accepted and placed on file. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Schlei, Reckelberg, Vanderkin, Kaderabek and Boldt 22-0861 Discussion regarding the parking spot lease agreement. Attachments: Leased Parking Stall communication Master Parking Lease Tier 1 2022 (002) A motion was made to direct staff to review and make any necessary changes to the lease agreement effective in 2023. Moved by Kaderabek, seconded by Vanderkin, that this Communication be approved and referred to council. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Schlei, Reckelberg, Vanderkin, Kaderabek and Boldt 22-0862 Request for traffic control signage at Wisconsin Avenue and North 12th, 12th, 14th, and 15th Streets. Attachments: Wisconsin Ave intersection signage request Moved by Boldt, seconded by Vanderkin, that this Request be placed on file. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Schlei, Reckelberg, Vanderkin, Kaderabek and Boldt City of Manitowoc Page 3 Public Safety Committee Meeting Minutes October 10, 2022 22-0863 Request for a four-way stop at the intersections of North 8th Street and Huron Street and North 11th Street and Huron Street. Attachments: HURON ST - N 8TH ST HURON ST - N 11TH ST stop signs at 8th and huron and 11th and huron Because the 2-way conversion just went into effect, the committee feels it is too soon to decide as citizens are still learning the new traffic pattern. A motion was made to table this item and review the traffic data in one year. Moved by Reckelberg, seconded by Boldt, that this Request be tabled. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Schlei, Reckelberg, Vanderkin, Kaderabek and Boldt 6.
