Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Common Council of the City of Manitowoc, or a standing committee of that body, may be present at this meeting to gather information about the subject matter over which they have decision making responsibility. This meeting is being conducted via remote conferencing software due to a state of emergency and the Wisconsin Governor's Executive Order. Attached. Discussion on Discover Manitowoc Grant application for 2020 Silver Cup XX. Jim Van Lanen gave an overview of the event. Explained the video they created was seen 799,962 times. Motion by Brey to give $5,000 from the Discover Manitowoc budget line and that this is the third and final year of funding for this event and the increase from previous years is an exception due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Second by McMeans. This request was approved.
