CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Cindy Gardner at 6:00 Board Members present: Cindy Gardner, Annette Hamill, Tom Leach, Chris Ohan, and Marty Thomas City Staff present: Museum Manager, Jessica Baber and Museum Education and Engagement Specialist Amanda Brown 2. APPROVE MINUTES FROM MARCH 3RD MEETING Amanda Brown was not included as present in the minutes, and the minutes were amended to make that change. Chris made a motion to approve the minutes as amended, Annette, seconded and all voted in favor. 3. CITIZEN COMMENTS None 4. PROJECT UPDATES May is Historic Preservation Month. Oral History Workshop given by Chris on May 14th @ 1:30 at the Historical Museum. Amanda is planning a public scavenger hunt for kids in downtown Mansfield. It will go all month long. She will ask Art about arranging for some kind of prize for the winners or a drawing of everyone who completes the hunt. We will have an open house on May 26th at 6:00 pm to celebrate the 20th Anniversary opening of the museum. Refreshments will be served. Jessica will say a few words and blow up some pictures of the opening for display. The Garden Club is coming to plant at the Man House this Saturday, April 2nd. 5. STEPS PROGRAM The board reviewed, discussed and completed the first 5 standards of the Mission, Vision and Governance section of the Steps Program. 6. BOARD MEMBER COMMENTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS Cindy and Tom talked to Art about misspellings on the Main Street lofts. Art is working on correcting the problem. 7. ADJOURN Cindy motioned to adjourn the meeting @ 7:36.
