CALL TO ORDER Chairman Littlefield called the meeting to order at 4:15 p.m. in the Planning and Zoning Conference Room of City Hall, 1200 East Broad Street, with the meeting being open to the public and notice of said meeting, giving the date, place, and subject thereof, having been posted as prescribed by Chapter 551, Texas Government Code. Staff Present: Art Wright, Principal Planner / HPO Jessica Baber, Museum Manager Amanda Brown, Museum Education and Engagement Specialist Jennifer Johnston, Development Coordinator Commissioners: Present 3 - David Littlefield;Thomas Leach and Mark Walker 2. DISCUSSION ITEM The Sub-Committee discussed the following activities for Preservation Month 2023: •Mansfield Historical Museum "From the Vault" display. •Guided Walking Tours of Historic Mansfield including themed tours. •Holding a “History How To” program in conjunction with the Mansfield Historic Museum and Heritage Center on May 6 regarding the care of family photographs. •Historic Mansfield Recognition Day at the Man House Information Center to held on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. •Conducting meetings with the downtown property/business owners to request support and cooperation for the planned events in May. •Historic Downtown Scavenger Hunt/Mansfield Historic Museum scheduled for Saturday, May 20, 2023 form 1:00-5:00 p.m. •Historic Preservation Month Information Table locations; including Arts Week Kids Day on March 13, 2023, the Downtown Easter Event on April 1, 2023 and Music Alley on April 29, 2023 •Chalk Art Contest scheduled for Saturday, May 13, 2023. •Classic Car Show to take place Saturday, May 6, 2023. • "This Place Matters!" signs to highlight 31 key historical buildings throughout the city. 3.
