CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Vice President Fiagome called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m.
Staff present: Executive Director of Economic Development Jason Moore, Chief
Financial Officer Troy Lestina, Assistant City Secretary Keera Seiger

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
22-4768 Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes for July 5, 2022
A motion was made by Board Member Vivoni to approve the minutes of the
July 5, 2022 Regular MEDC Board meeting. Seconded by Board Member
Spaulding. The motion CARRIED by the following vote:
Aye: 6- Selim Fiagome; David Godin; William Vivoni; Nicole Zaitoon; Drew
Spaulding and Juan Fresquez
Nay: 0
Absent: 1- Larry Klos
Abstain: 0
FINANCIALS
22-4802 Presentation of Monthly Financial Report for Period Ending 06/30/2022
Executive Director of Economic Development Jason Moore presented the Monthly
Financial Report and was available for questions.

22-4808 Consideration and Approval of 30' Wide Hike and Bike Trail Easement
Jason Moore presented the item.
A motion was made by Board Member Godin to approve the easement and
authorize the Board President to sign the easement agreement. Seconded by
Board Member Vivoni. The motion CARRIED by the following vote:
Aye: 6- Selim Fiagome; David Godin; William Vivoni; Nicole Zaitoon; Drew
Spaulding and Juan Fresquez
Nay: 0
Absent: 1- Larry Klos

Jason Moore presented the item and answered questions regarding the budget. Jason
spoke on the budget highlights, sales tax, and detailed line items of the budget. Chief
Financial Officer Troy Lestina spoke on sales tax and answered questions.

A motion was made by Board Member Godin to approve the MEDC FY 22-23
Budget with corrections to remove retention budget numbers as presented and
submit it to City Council for final action. Seconded by Board Member Vivoni.
The motion CARRIED by the following vote:
Aye: 6- Selim Fiagome; David Godin; William Vivoni; Nicole Zaitoon; Drew
Spaulding and Juan Fresquez
Nay: 0
Absent: 1- Larry Klos
Abstain: 0
BOARD MEMBER COMMENTS
Vice President Fiagome recognized new Board Member Juan Fresquez, who gave a
brief introduction.
Board Member Godin requested an update on advertising promotions, to which Jason
Moore provided.
There were no other Board Member comments.
STAFF COMMENTS
Jason Moore thanked the Board for their flexibility, thanked staff for their assistance,
and wished Board President Klos a speedy recovery.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Board Member Vivoni to adjourn the meeting at 5:57
p.m. Seconded by Board Member Godin. The motion CARRIED by the following
vote:
