CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Vice President Bobby Quentin at 9:05 a.m. Members Present: Bobby Quinten, Sharon Zambrzycki, Cindy Gray, Sherri Chambers, Jan Knight, Kelvin Stroy, and Friends President Carol Ann Grantham Member Absent: Suzonne Evans 2. MINUTES A motion was made by Jan Knight and seconded by Cindy Gray to approve the minutes of the September 9, 2015 meeting. 3. CITIZEN COMMENTS None 4. CITY LIBRARIAN'S REPORT MPL, Historical Museum, and Nature Park links have been put on the MEDC website. * It will help seekers know more about the cultural, educational, and recreational features of Mansfield. Council meet and greet on November 23, 2015 * Friends will provide refreshments and set up in the conference room. * It will happen between 3:30 and 4:30 so that City Council members can get to City Hall by 5:00. 5. STRATEGIC PLANNING FOR FY 2016 - FY 2020 Three broad goals: 1. Culture * Become a cultural and community center in Mansfield. 2. Technology * Continue to grow the technology in the library. * Avoid becoming isolated and outdated. 3. Libraries = Education * Reclaim the library’s place in education Flesh out the supporting objectives at the next meeting.
