Planning and Zoning Commission - Work Session Meeting Minutes October 6, 2025 - 5:30 PM Final Multipurpose Room 1200 E. Broad St., Mansfield, TX 76063 1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Mainer called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room of City Hall, 1200 East Broad Street, with the meeting being open to the public and notice of said meeting, giving the date, place, and subject thereof, having been posted as prescribed by Chapter 551, Texas Government Code. Present: Blake Axen, David Godin, Michael Mainer, Patrick Moses, Ehi Lambert-Aikhionbare, Danielle Walker, Eric Rozak 2. CITIZEN COMMENTS Citizens wishing to address the Commission on non-public hearing agenda items and items not on the agenda may do so at this time. Once the business portion of the meeting begins, only comments related to public hearings will be heard. All comments are limited to five (5) minutes. There were no citizen comments. 3. STAFF ANNOUNCEMENTS Staff went over staff announcements. 4. SUMMARY OF CITY COUNCIL ACTIONS Staff summarized City Council actions. 5. PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION ORIENTATION Staff spoke on the Planning and Zoning Commission orientation items. 6. PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING LOGISTICS Staff spoke on the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting logistics. 7. ELECTION OF OFFICERS A motion was made by Commissioner Moses to re-elect Chairman Mainer and Vice Chairman Axen as Chair and Vice Chair of the Planning and Zoning Commission. Seconded by Commissioner Rozak. The motion PASSED by the following vote: Aye: 7 Blake Axen, David Godin, Michael Mainer, Patrick Moses, Ehi Lambert- Aikhionbare, Danielle Walker, Eric Rozak Nay: 0 None Abstain: 0 None Page 1 8. COMMISSION ANNOUNCEMENTS Commissioner Walker shared that she is pleased to join the Planning and Zoning Commission. Commissioner Godin showed appreciation towards Chairman Mainer and Vice Chairman Axen. Commissioner Rozak seconded Commissioner Godin's comment and also shared that he is pleased to join the Planning and Zoning Commission. Vice Chairman Axen welcomed Commissioner Rozak and Commissioner Walker to the commission and mentioned the Haunt the Block event coming up. Chairman Mainer thanked the commissioners for their time and efforts. 9. ADJOURN A motion was made by Commissioner Godin to adjourn the meeting at 8:03 p.m. Seconded by Commissioner Moses.
