The following is some additional information: PUBLIC COMMENTS AND COMMUNICATIONS CONSENT AGENDA Please see the attached memorandum on this item. NEW BUSINESS EVCNB Annual Update. Members of the Emergency Volunteer Corps of Nehalem Bay will present an update on activities since their report to the Council last year. Proclamation September Emergency Month. Same as last year, the Mayor will consider approving a proclamation to declare September as a preparedness month of 2020. Enclose is the proclamation. Public Health and Safety Committee. Members of this committee will introduce the purpose and goals they would like to accomplish with this new local initiative. OLD BUSINESS Update to Cherry Trail. Recommended action: Move to allow the Assistant City Manager to amend C2 Recreation Consulting contract to include the creation of a City Trail Master Plan and to develop a scope of work and budget for the Council to approve at the October City Council Meeting. See the enclosed documents for more information. Amendment to building ordinance. Recommended action: Move to read “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 1.4, 1.10, 2.1, 2.2, 2.5, 2.6, 2.7, 2.8, 2.9, OF CITY OF MANZANITA ORDINANCE NO. 96-03 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING ADMINISTRATION & ENFORCEMENT OF BUILDING CODES” by title only for its second and final reading and to tentatively approve said Ordinance as of its final reading. Staff will continue discussing the needed IT services that will enhance our customer service, improve efficiency, and add value to our services.
