DISCUSSION OF POTENTIAL CHANGES TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE #95-4: Proposed changes to the City’s Zoning Ordinance regarding Accessory Dwelling Units within the Urban Growth Boundary and Change of Definition “Dwelling Unit”. III. ADJOURNMENT The purpose of this workshop is to inform the community of the potential changes to Zoning Ordinance #95-4 and receive public comments on those proposed changes. Accessory Dwelling Units are required within the urban growth boundary by state law. The Planning Commission is soliciting comments on potential restrictions on ADUs. In addition, our zoning code uses a definition of a ‘dwelling unit’ that must be updated to meet current building codes and practices. Written public comments can be dropped off at City Hall or made to ciyhall@ci.manzanita.or.us . Written comments will be accepted up until 3 pm March 4, 2021 so the Commission will have time to receive them prior to the meeting.
