MAPLE GROVE ARBOR SUBCOMMITTEE SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES MAYOR’S CONFERENCE ROOM February 18th, 2020 – 9:30 AM Call to Order The special meeting of the Arbor Subcommittee was called to order by Member Sarah Piket at 9:30 a.m. Members Present Sarah Piket, Marilyn Arnlund, Don Varney Members Absent None Also Present None Approval of Agenda and Marilyn Arnlund made a motion to approve the agenda Minutes of the February 18th meeting. The motion was seconded by Don Varney and passed unanimously on a voice vote. Don Varney made a motion to approve the minutes of the February 4th meeting. The motion was seconded by Marilyn Arnlund and passed unanimously on a voice vote. Old Business Continue review of State The subcommittee completed review of the State of of Minnesota’s B3 Minnesota’s B3 (Buildings, Benchmarks & Beyond) guidelines Guidelines. The reviewed focused on identifying and documenting guidelines that highlight the value of trees in sustainability efforts. New Business Identify commonalities Time was spent building out a table to more easily between numerous document and compare & contrast guidelines and reference technical specifications that have been pulled from documents/guidelines numerous reference documents Next Meeting Continue review of the State of Minnesota’s B3 Guidelines. Identify commonalities between reference documentation. Adjournment Marilyn Arnlund moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded by Sarah Piket and passed unanimously on a voice vote.
