Maple Grove Arbor Subcommittee Regular Meeting Minutes September 5, 2023 CED Conference Room 9 a.m. Call to Order The regular meeting of the Arbor Subcommittee was called to order by Member Sarah Piket at 9:09 a.m. Members Present Don Varney, Marilyn Arnlund, Sarah Piket Members Absent None Also Present None Approval of Agenda and Arnlund added agenda item for review of Chanhassen and Minutes Toronto ordinances. Motion Varney, second Piket to approve the amended agenda for September 5, 2023. Vote all ayes. Motion passed. Approval of Minutes Motion Varney, second Piket to approve the minutes for May 9, 2023. Vote all ayes. Motion passed. Old Business Walk-through of Current Members continued walking through the existing Landscape Ordinance to Identify Areas ordinance (Sec. 36-831., sections (f) thru (h)). They for Update identified multiple proposed changes. They concurrently updated a document to log the justification and/or reference source for each of the proposed changes. The subcommittee made a few revisions to proposed changes in sections (e). New Business Review of Chanhassen and Members reviewed excerpts of ordinances for Chanhassen, Toronto ordinances MN and Toronto, Canada for ideas on how to address problem areas such as snow storage, etc. Adjournment Motion Arnlund, second Piket to adjourn the meeting at 1:55 p.m. Vote all ayes.
