(2) ROLL CALL Present: 5- Member Green, Vice-Chair O'Donnell, Member Scarpa, Member Rasmussen and Chair Boehner Not Present: 2- Member Barber and Member Ryan (3) PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Led by Chair Boehner. (4) APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA MOTION by Member Scarpa, seconded by Member Rasmussen, that this be Approved. MOTION by Member Scarpa, seconded by Member O'Donnell,to buy two road flashing light sings. Beach Boxes City of Marco Island Florida Page 1 Beach and Coastal Resources Meeting Minutes - Final May 17, 2023 Advisory Committee Beach Clean-Up 5/20/2023 Next Beach clean-up will be Saturday May 20th at 8am at South Marco Beach. (7) NEW BUSINESS Beautification Committee (Public Access Update) This was a presentation from Angnoli, Barber and Burndage, inc regarding the Beautification Advisory Committee Winterberry & Maple Public Beach Access Improvements. Coastal Resiliency Committee members discussed the Coastal Resiliency Collier County work project at the South Marco Beach. (8) STAFF COMMUNICATIONS Kathryn Grigsby updated the Committee members with the fallowing information: On the next Committee meeting Audubon Western Everglades will provide the updates on the Condos using the alternative to rodenticide. Relocating signs Rodenticide Alternatives Update Collier County Beach Renourishment Project (9) PUBLIC COMMENT (TIME CERTAIN 9:30 A.M..) None. (10) NEXT MEETING: CONFIRMATION & ATTENDANCE Next meeting is schedule for July 19th. Committee members discussed if they should have a June meeting. (11) PROPOSED AGENDA TOPICS FOR NEXT MEETING Proposed Agenda topic for next meeting. Budget. Chair Man of the Beautification committee meeting for discussion of the public access. Rodenticide speaker. (12) OTHER COMMITTEE COMMUNICATIONS Member O'Donnell mentioned the Sea Turtle and Sawfish incident.
