(2) ROLL CALL Present: 3- Vice-Chair O'Donnell, Member Scarpa and Chair Boehner Not Present: 3- Member Barber, Member Ryan and Member Rasmussen (3) PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Led by Chair Boehner. Committee members discussed ordering more flashing roadway signs. MOTION by Member Scarpa, seconded by Vice-Chair O'Donnell, to purchase an additional Gopher Tortoise solar road sign assuming sufficient remaining budget, if not to buy as many Gopher Tortoise thermal road signs as possible. Sea Turtle Lighting Enforcement Updates—Code Enforcement Ira Warder with Marco Island Code Enforcement discussed Sea Turtle updated to the Committee members. Committee members and Code Enforcement discussed the violation process. Rodenticide Updates—Audubon of the Western Everglades Brittany Piersma with Audubon of the Western Everglades discussed Burrowing Owls & Rodenticide research updates. Rodenticide Speaker Series—Truly Nolen Pest Control Truly Nolen Pest Control presented to the Committee members their Rat Control program. (8) STAFF COMMUNICATIONS Kathryn Grigsby updated the Committee members with the fallowing information: Dead Sea Turtle Investigation by FWC at Sand Dollar Island. Rodent Control in Public Spaces. Rodenticide Speaker in September start time change. Collier County Beach Berm. Wildlife Message Board. (9) PUBLIC COMMENT (TIME CERTAIN 9:30 A.M..) Joanna Metzger discussed Burrowing Owls & Rodenticide. (10) NEXT MEETING: CONFIRMATION & ATTENDANCE Next meeting is scheduled for September 20th. Committee members discussed starting September 20th meeting at 12pm.
