The Workshop did not have an official "Call to Order." (2) ROLL CALL The December 6, 2023 Waterways Advisory Committee Workshop attendance: Chair Martin Winter Member Daniel High Member Stephen Inacker Member Jim Snider Member Eugene Wordehoff Absent: Member Steve Sokol The Workshop did not have an official "Roll Call." Also Present City Staff: Councilor, Rich Blonna Michael McNees, City Manager Joan Taylor, City Clerk Justin Martin, Public Works Director Tara Kosieracki, Administrative/Public Coordinator Martin Luna, Video/Broadcast Technician (3) INTRODUCTION (8:30 A.M. - 8:45 A.M.) (3A) ID 23-3294 The Waterways Advisory Committee Workshop Presentation Materials are provided by Councilor Rich Blonna. Councilor Blonna provided a presentation and discussed the development of goals and objectives. (4) GOALS, OBJECTIVES AND METHODS PRESENTATION (8:45 A.M. - 9:00 A.M.) (4A) ID 23-3295 The Waterways Advisory Committee Workshop Presentation Materials are provided by Councilor Rich Blonna. Councilor Blonna and the Board discussed the Committee's goals and objectives. (5) WORK PLAN DEVELOPMENT SESSION (9:00 A.M. - 9:45 A.M.) Councilor Blonna and the Board discussed interests, goals, and objectives. During the Waterways Advisory Committee Meeting scheduled on 12/14/23, Councilor Blonna suggested the following: 1. Schedule a second Workshop date prior to the January Committee Meeting. 2. Schedule goal (draft) deadline. 3. Joan Taylor, City Clerk will clarify the Sunshine guidelines. Douglas (Rick) Woodworth raised his concerns over the budget process. Mike McNees, City Manager commented about the budget and the Committees. Chair Winter commented about the Committee's future recommendations and the budget. (7) WRAP UP (9:50 A.M. - ) Chair Winter summarized the following: 1. Chair Winter requested Joan Taylor, City Clerk guidance on the Sunshine Law. 2. The Board will schedule a Workshop in January, prior to the January Committee Meeting. Councilor Rola is the Committee liaison. Mike McNees, City Manager discussed the City Council, goal setting, budget, millage rate, and sales tax.
