Lee Present: Mike Wilson and Bruce Coyle Also Present: Alice Summerour, Board member Ron Mull, General Manager Bill Bruton, City Manager Various City/BLW Staff Stephanie Guy, Board Clerk CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Lee called the meeting to order at 11:00 a.m. MINUTES: 20190185 Minutes - October 8, 2018 Review and approval of October 8, 2018 committee meeting minutes. A motion was made by Board member Coyle, seconded by Board member Wilson, that this matter be Approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Vote: 3 – 0 – 0 Approved BUSINESS: 20180322 General Fund Transfer Discussion and any necessary action regarding the General Fund Transfer. Finance Director Sam Lady presented a review of the financial position of the BLW and the general fund transfer history. In depth discussion was held regarding the request from the City for a transfer of $13.2 million. City of Marietta Page 1 BLW Budget/ Rates Committee Meeting Minutes March 4, 2019 A motion was made by Board member Coyle, seconded by Board member Wilson, to recommend to the full BLW Board to approve a 13.2 million transfer to the general fund. The motion carried by the following vote: Vote: 2 – 1 – 0 Approved Voting Against: Terry Lee 20190212 Marietta Natural Gas Budget Update on Marietta Natural Gas Budget. Discussion was held regarding provisional budget for the start-up costs related to Natural Gas once the legal battle is settled. Further discussion will be held at a later date.
