Steve Tumlin called the meeting to order at 12:05 p.m. INVOCATION: Chairman Tumlin called upon Board member Terry Lee to give the invocation. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Everyone was asked to remain standing for the Pledge of Allegiance. Discussion was held regarding a request to add a new item to the agenda. A motion was made by Board member Coyle, seconded by Board member Lee, to suspend the rules of order to add an item to the agenda related to a water/sewer issue at 564 Cherokee Street. Reported 20190250 Water/Sewer Issue – 564 Cherokee Street Discussion regarding property located at 564 Cherokee Street to determine sewer connection. Discussion was held regarding the private sewer line located at or near 564 Cherokee Street to determine proper sewer connection. Motion to identify the sanitary sewer line located along the rear of 564 Cherokee Street, which serves multiple properties, as a private sewer line; identify the subject sewer line and service as private on the City’s service maps; notify those property owners who are serviced by such private sewer line that such line is private to be maintained by the property owners, and not the BLW; and to authorize sanitary sewer connection from the subject private sewer line serving more than one property owner to the public sewer system. The motion was made by Board member Coyle, seconded by Board member Lee, that this matter be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Vote: 6 – 0 – 0 Approved V. COMMITTEE REPORTS: 20190178 Budget/ Rates Committee Committee Chair Terry Lee to provide an update and any action from the March 4, 2019 committee meeting. An update was given by the Chair Lee regarding the actions of the Committee. The motion was made by Board member Lee, seconded by Board member Coyle, that this matter be Approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Vote: 6 – 0 – 0 Approved 20190179 Budget/ Rates Committee/ April Consideration for calling a BLW Budget/ Rates Committee meeting sometime prior to the April 8, 2019 regular Board meeting to review a draft of the planned FY20 BLW Budget.
