BLW OPERATING DEPARTMENTS: Customer Care: 20200648 Covid-19 Customer Service Recovery Board direction on the feasibility of providing customers with a discount. Discussion was held. Motion to approve a 1% rebate to Marietta Power and Water customers who made payments on their bill from March 1, 2020 to August 30, 2020. Further, to allocate funds to offset bad debt incurred by Marietta Power and Water. The motion was made by Board member Coyle, seconded by Board member Summerour, that this matter be Approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Vote: 7 – 0 – 0 Approved Discussion was held regarding the September BLW Meeting. Motion to change the Thursday, September 3, 2020 BLW meeting date to Wednesday, September 2, 2020. The motion was made by Board member Lee, seconded by Board member Coyle, that this matter be Approved.
