A motion was made by Board member Wilson, seconded by Board member Coyle, that this matter be Approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Vote: 3 - 0 - 0 Approved BUSINESS: 20210199 General Fund Transfer Discussion and any necessary action regarding the General Fund Transfer. Finance Director, Sam Lady, presented information related to the general fund transfer. City of Marietta Page 1 Printed on 3/30/2021 12:59:34PM BLW Budget/ Rates Committee Meeting Minutes March 8, 2021 In depth discussion was held related to proposed 1.6% increase of the general fund transfer, as well as how it was calculated. Motion to recommend to the Board to set the general fund transfer for the FY22 at $13,853,770. The motion was made by Board member Coyle, seconded by Council member Wilson, that this matter be Approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Vote: 3 – 0 – 0 Approved Further discussion was held regarding the general fund trans fer policy. A motion was made by Board member Coyle, seconded by Council member Wilson, to direct staff to review the general fund transfer policy and bring back an analysis to Committee in December.
