Steve Tumlin called the meeting to order at 12:02 p.m. INVOCATION: Chairman Tumlin called on Board member Morris to give the invocation. MINUTES: 20220698 Regular Meeting - June 6, 2022 Review and approval of the June 6, 2022 regular meeting minutes. APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATIONS: Mayor Tumlin made a special presentation by presenting a check in the amount of $50,000 to Cobb Veterans Memorial Foundation President & CEO, Donna Rowe, who was joined at the podium by Cobb County District Three Commissioner JoAnn Birrell. This $50,000 investment in the special Fairground Street Veteran’s Memorial was approved by the Board of Lights and Water May 9, 2022. III. Reported Information Technology (IT): Water & Sewer: 20220701 Maxwell Avenue Sewer Main Replacement/ Contract Award Consideration to award a construction contract to GS Construction in the amount of $310,610.00 for the Maxwell Avenue Sewer Main Replacement project. The motion was made by Board member Summerour, seconded by Board member Lee, that this matter be Approved.
