increasing maximum allowable health contribution from $2,500 to $2,550 with Total
Administrative Services Corporation (TASC).
* 20160845 Supplemental Pension Investment Policy Statement Approval
Motion approving the Supplemental Pension Investment Policy Statement (IPS) as
forwarded by the Pension Board. Exhibit A of the revised IPS updates the plan’s
investment options, and establishes age appropriate target date funds as the Qualified
Default Investment Alternatives (QDIA) instead of the guaranteed fixed income
option. The Pension Board is authorized to periodically update Exhibit A as
investment options change.

V2016-40 [VARIANCE] THE KRYSTAL CO (SIGNAL SIGNS) is requesting a
variance for property located in Land Lot 1283, District 16, Parcel 0070, 2nd Section,
Cobb County, Georgia, and being known as 271 Cobb Parkway South, currently zoned
CRC (Community Retail Commercial). Variance to allow nonconforming sign remain
after redevelopment of the site. Ward 7A.
* 20160939 ChalktoberFest Street Closure Addendum 2
Motion to approve a request by the Marietta-Cobb Museum of Art to amend previously
approved street closures for the ChalktoberFest event to be held the weekend of
October 8th and 9th, specifically, the closure of Church Street from Hansell Street to
the intersection of N. Park/W. Park and Mill Street, and Mill Street to the entrance to
the parking lot on Friday, October 7th at 7:30 pm until 8 pm on October 9th for the
purpose of hosting the event. These closures will be conducted in such a manner as no
cooperate with the Farmer’s Market for the use of Mill Street Saturday and Sunday.
The Artist’s Market will relocate to Cherokee Street.
Council member Goldstein disclosed that he is a member of the Marietta-Cobb
Museum of Art.
