Southern for a term of three years, effective January 1, 2020 and expiring on December 31, 2022. 20190891 Civil Service Board - Post 4 Consideration of an appointment to the Marietta Civil Service Board (Post 4), for a three-year term, effective January 1, 2020 and expiring on December 31, 2022. City of Marietta Page 1 Printed on 10/4/2019 3:55:33PM CITY COUNCIL AGENDA WORK Meeting Agenda October 7, 2019 SESSION 20190917 Historic Board of Review and Historic Preservation Commission Attorney Appointment Motion to approve the HBR and HPC’s recommendation to appoint Joseph Atkins from Downey & Cleveland, LLP, as the advising attorney in accordance with §7-8-8-080 (I.) and §7-8-9-030 (G.). 20190866 Detailed Plan - 1101 Powder Springs St Motion to approve the detailed plan, which includes the site plan, landscape plan, and building elevations, by Wilson Development for the development of 1.5 acres of 1101 Powder Springs Street for two drive-in fast food restaurants. Approval of this detailed plan includes variances for the following: 1. Variance to reduce the setback from 10’ to 0’ for dumpster enclosures. §708.19 (F.1.) 2. Variance to encroach 10’ into the required 50’ buffer for grading of the stormwater ponds. The buffer will be replanted to fill any existing gaps in vegetation, or proposed disturbed areas, to the full 50.’ §710.05, §708.19 (I.) 3. Variance to allow the buffer contain a chain link fence in lieu of an opaque fence. §710.05 (D.), §708.19 (I.) 4. Variance to reduce the minimum tract size from 5 acres to 0.75 acres. §708.19 (H.) 5. Variance to increase the maximum impervious surface from 65% to 80%. §708.19 (H.) 6. Variance to waive the sidewalk along Natchez Trace. §732.07 7. Variance to allow the approval of an exemption plat in lieu of a final plat prior to construction. §708.19 (J.4.) 20190780 Charter Amendment to Section 5.14 Request to authorize the advertisement and holding of two Public Hearings for proposed Charter Amendment to Section 5.14 of the Charter of the City of Marietta BLW Business Entities. 20190921 Party Houses Discussion making an ordinance to not allow Party Houses in any subdivisions.
