Goldstein, Ward 7 Wednesday, November 30, 2016 5:15 AM Council Chamber CALL TO ORDER: BUSINESS: 20161138 Hedges Street/Property swap with City of Marietta Motion approving the exchange of property between the City of Marietta and Inline Communities, LLC. This motion to approve follows the public hearing on the matter and the findings by the Mayor and Council that this exchange as a matter of fact and a matter of law is in the best interest of the public. Further, the Mayor and Council find as a matter of fact and a law that the City of Marietta is receiving property equal to or greater than the property being transferred in the exchange. Final documentation is subject to the approval of the City Manager and the City Attorney and the exchange deeds shall be held in escrow pending purchase of the property by Inline Communities, LLC. This motion authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the exchange deeds and documents. Area B on the attached shall be deeded by the City of Marietta to Inline Communities, LLC. Areas A and C shall be deeded by Inline Communities, LLC to the City of Marietta. See attached. This motion authorizes the City of Marietta to convey the results of the special election to the Cobb Delegation of the Georgia General Assembly. 20161189 Executive Session Executive Session to discuss legal, personnel, and/or real estate matters.
