City of Marietta Page 1 Printed on 11/28/2016 10:25:04AM FINANCE/INVESTMENTS Meeting Agenda November 30, 2016 COMMITTEE 20161177 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant YELLS and the City of Marietta plan to submit an application for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) grant through the Department of Education with the City of Marietta serving as the fiscal agent. This is a five year grant, and we are requesting approximately $250,000 per year. Funding through the 21st CCLC would increase YELLS's organizational capacity and strengthen the academic support services provided to Franklin Gateway families through the YELLS Afterschool Program for K-5th grade youth and the YELLS Community Action Cafe for high school teens both during the school year and summer.
