Vote: 6-0-0 City of Marietta Page 1 Printed on 10/30/2013 2:20:23PM MARIETTA HISTORIC BOARD OF Meeting Minutes October 28, 2013 REVIEW BUSINESS: 20131250 Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home - 180 Church Street The applicant, Willie Parham, is requesting a Certificate of Approval to replace the plywood and roofing over a bay window facing Ardis Street due to a water leak. Board member Carrie Walker made a motion to approve the request, seconded by Board member Freedman. Vote: 6-0-0 20131254 Nobles Metales - 24 Mill Street The applicant, Andres Cardenas, is requesting a Certificate of Approval for a new projecting sign for Nobles Metales, located at 24 Mill Street. Board member Carrie Walker made a motion to approve, with a variance to allow an additional sign that shall meet the eight (8) foot height clearance and project no more than five (5) feet, seconded by Board member Sinclair. Vote: 6-0-0 20131261 StoneBridge Church - 164 Roswell Street Kim Kermer/Jeff Adams are requesting approval of a new projecting sign (4’x3.5’) for StoneBridge Church, located at 164 Roswell Street. Board member Carrie Walker made a motion to approve, seconded by Board member Johnny Sinclair. Vote: 6-0-0 20131265 Allstate - 28 Winters Street Harold Sullivan is requesting approval of three blue shed awnings with the text “Allstate” (6”x2.5’) on the sides of the two end awnings at 28 Winters St. Board member Carrie Walker made a motion to table the request until the next scheduled meeting, seconded by Board member Johnny Sinclair.
