BUSINESS: 20150221 17 Whitlock Avenue-Duprees (Marietta-Cobb Museum of Art) Applicant is requesting approval for a mural to be placed on the wall of Duprees coming into the Square. 20150241 145 Church Street-Wharton Mgmt. for Stephens Building LLC Applicant is requesting approval to refresh the Church Street façade including new store front glass, painting or replacing upstairs windows to match, removing existing shutters and installing channel lettering. 20150265 31 Atlanta Street - Lawyers Realty Applicant is requesting approval to replace select windows that are in disrepair. The original COA approved at the 2/2/15 HBR meeting (L-20150073) indicated the incorrect sign dimensions. 20150288 Discuss Board terms of office and election of officers Discussion per the request of Development Services Director Brian Binzer. 20150248 49 West Park Square Applicant is requesting approval to remove the addition (wood, shingle, etc…) at the top front and side of the building that was added in the 1980’s to bring the front back to a flat surface as it has historically been and repair the front as necessary. 20150249 48 Atlanta Street (39 Winters Street) Applicant is requesting approval to paint the bollards and posts bright yellow. 20150250 102 Winters Street Applicant is requesting approval for exterior paint, exterior repair and exterior remodeling. The work is the installation of two concrete block walls approximately 10 ½ feet tall across the alley. The outside of each wall will be finished in stucco and painted beige. 20150251 10-20 Powder Springs Street Applicant is requesting approval for exterior paint, exterior repair and exterior remodeling. Repair the stucco north exterior wall on the second level overlooking the building next door and repair the wall. Repair and replace damaged wood as needed and repair or replace shingles with matching shingles or black 20 year shingles if all need to be replaced. Perform other maintenance and repair on the front as needed. 20150017 67, 77, 87 North Park Square and 85, 89 Root Street - Certificate of Approval (New Construction) Motion to approve the proposed new building - a three (3) story four-sided brick building - as shown on the attached plans by Warner Architectural Associates, to be located at 67, 77 & 87 North Park Square and 85 & 89 Root Street, in Land Lot 12182, District 16, 2nd Section, Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia. Philip M. Goldstein is the owner and Manager of Marietta Properties, LLC. Motion to refer this matter back to the Marietta Historic Board of Review.
