Discussion: Chairman Lee noted the changes to the Historic Board of Review calendar specifically the April 30th and July 30th meeting location changed from Council Chamber to the 4th floor conference room. Discussed with Johnnie Walker the new make-up of the City Council including the chairs of the various committees. Chik-fil-A - staff reported there is nothing new regarding this project. Per Alvin Huff - the project will not go forward due to problems with access, curb cuts etc. Disclosure - Chairman Lee was contacted by and met with an individual (Joe Uhl) interested in opening a brew pub on the site of the land owned by Philip Goldstein. Mr. Uhl will need a 30 year lease from Phillip Goldstein. He wanted to understand why the original application submitted by Mr. Goldstein was denied. Chairman Lee explained the rationale. Discussed the status of the Brew Pub project at the Gone With The Wind Museum site and the relocation of the museum. Discussed having refreshers- Roberts Rule of Order and Design Guidelines - to be presented to some of the newer members and a refresher for the members that have been serving for a while. Staff will email a link to the design guidelines and provide hard copies as requested.
