This item was requested by Council Member Goldstein. 20150701 Residential Infill Development Overlay District Discussion regarding possible changes to Section 712.11, Residential Infill Development Overlay District, as requested by Councilman Fleming. 20150691 Street Names for Kennesaw State University - Marietta Campus (SPSU) Request by Dr. Daniel S. Papp for new private street names for the Kennesaw State University Marietta Campus. This item was requested by Council Member Michelle Kelly. 20150760 Additional Elevation Options for Walton Horizons (Dunleith Parkway) Request by Venture Homes for additional single family detached elevation designs for the remaining lots in the subdivision. 20150790 City’s Vision Statement Consideration of amending the City of Marietta Vision Statement with the addition of the following 1. We are to be a City that implements walkability, bicycle use, sidewalks, electric vehicles and carts, and safe crossings in its street designs, both private and public roads (collectively known as “Walkability”). Said implementation shall be included in public works projects, zoning, commercial usage, and residential usage, both owner occupied neighborhoods and multifamily neighborhoods. Walkability shall be implemented as a component in redesigning and in new projects as well. 2. Marietta establishes itself as a City embracing the Arts by incorporating Public Art in its’ infrastructure, streetscapes, parks, sidewalks, bridges, parking areas and open areas where possible and to whatever acceptable extent on a case by case basis.” This item was requested by Mayor Tumlin.
