This provision shall not affect or exclude elected or appointed officials of the governing body of the City of Marietta who are currently vested or anyone who is currently serving but not yet vested as long as they maintain continuous service until they vest.” 20161097 Pre-retirement Death Benefits Information related to council request to have staff review options to add pre-retirement death benefits to the Consolidated Retirement Plan without retroactivity provisions. Additionally, this item contains a recommendation to add pre-retirement death benefits as approved by the Pension Board at its November 9, 2016, meeting.
