Consideration of projects for the anticipated 2020 SPLOST referendum.
20190612 Barnes Mill Road Utilities
Request by Marietta Power for consideration of a motion authorizing variance from
the underground utility’s ordinance allowing the installation of a new utility pole behind
the sidewalk at 1239 Barnes Mill Road. This motion does not grant a perpetual
variance. Marietta Power must relocate underground at their expense if other utilities
at the location are moved underground.

Presentation of option to improve motorist and pedestrian safety.
20190689 Parking Potential Smorgasbord
Purchase/partnership for the old C& S building on Waddell St for a modular brick
parking deck:
1. Fee parking with participating vendors redeeming parking fee for customer
against contemporaneous purchase
2. Free evening and weekend
3. Latest smart technology for gates.
4. Make interior friendly for hosting farmers market, chalk fest and other outdoor
events during inclement weather
5. With restrooms
