This motion does not grant a perpetual variance. Marietta Power must relocate underground at their expense if other utilities at the location are moved underground. Requested by Council Member Grif Chalfant 20210451 Speed Detection Devices in School Zones Discussion of the potential use of speed detection devices in school zones in the city. 20210521 Speed Detection Devices on Lawrence Street Motion to request approval from the State giving our Marietta Police Department the authority of being able to use speed detection devices in a 25 MPH residential zone as a safety measure on Lawrence Street. Requested by Council Member Reggie Copeland. 20210522 Speed Detection Devices on Washington Avenue Motion to request approval from the State giving our Marietta Police Department the authority of being able to use speed detection devices in a 25 MPH residential zone as a safety measure on Washington Avenue. Requested by Council Member Reggie Copeland. 20210572 Speed Detection Radar on City Streets Discussion of which streets Police are authorized to use radar on for speed detection.
