MARINETTE CIVIC AFFAIRS, CEMETERY, TRAFFIC & LIGHTS COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES FROM 1/18/21 1. Alderperson Jason Flatt, Committee Chairperson, called the Civic Affairs, Cemetery, Traffic and Lights Committee regular meeting to order at 05:00 PM in the Marinette Council Chambers, 1905 Hall Ave, Marinette WI. 2. Upon a call of the roll, the following Committee members attendance was recorded as follows: MEMBERS PRESENT: Alderpersons Flatt, Hitt, Kowalski, Oitzinger (via Go to meeting) & Klegin. ABSENT: None OTHERS PRESENT: Mayor Genisot, Judge Noppenberg, Roberta Davis, Jim Callow & Dan Kitkowski. 3. Approving Civic Affairs, Cemetery, Traffic & Lights Committee prior month meeting minutes. Alderpersons Hitt moved/Oitzinger seconded and all concurred, to approve, as presented, the Civic Affairs, Cemetery, Traffic & Lights Committee regular meeting minutes from 12/21/20. 4. Discussion and possible action on procedural changes to reduce in person wait times for upcoming February and April elections. The committee discussed how to reduce the wait times at the Poll book for the February and April Spring Elections. No action was taken on this agenda item. 5. Discussion and possible action on procedure for processing absentee ballots for upcoming February and April elections. Included in today’s packet was the process of administering absentee ballots from the State of WI Elections Commission. City Clerk Bero explained the machines being used for Absentee Ballots are Optical Scan Election machine for the Spring Primary and Spring Election. No action was taken on this agenda item. 6. Discussion regarding future agenda items.  Alderperson Flatt asked if any items are requested to contact him. 7. Adjournment – Alderpersons Kowalski moved/Klegin seconded and all concurred to adjourn at 5:09PM.
