Minutes Retirement Board Meeting of October 29,2024 The monthly meeting ofthe Marlborough Retirement Board was held at 8:l5am on Tuesday, Octobet 29,2024, in the Lobby Conference Room at 289 Elrn Street, in MarlborouBh, Massachusetts. Board Members present: Gregory Brewster, Robert Gustafson, William Taylor, and Daniel Stanhope. Also present: Mark Bingle, Meredith Colacchio, Jodi Gorman, and Michael Ossing, The meeting was called to order at 8:l5am. Public Comments: No public comments were heard. Approve Warra[ts: The board reviewed warrants for Retiree Payroll: S1,555,34E.41, Vendor Warrant: S14,949.13, and the Staff Payroll: $ 19,816.64. William Taylor made a motion to approve these warrants. Gregory Brewster seconded the motion. Vote: Unanimous 4-0. Approv€ Minules: The Board reviewed the Minutes of September 2024, and the Executive Session minutes of September 2024. William Taylor made a motion to accept the Regular and Executive Session minutes of September 2024 and place on file. Robert Gustafson seconded the motion. Vote: UIlanimous 4-0. Financial Statements: The Board revieu'ed the September 2024 Citizens BanI Reconciliation, and the Monthly Budget. William Taylor made a motion to accept the September 2024 Citizens Bank Reconciliation, and the monthly budget, and place on file. Gregory Brewster seconded the motion. Vote: Unanimous 4-0. Robert Custafson seconded the motion Vote: Unanimous 4-0. Refund Warrant: $t 13,066.50 Final Settl€ment: M ary Audette, who served as a Librarian with the City of Marlborough., passed away on October 5, 2024. Ms. Audette retired on May 17,2006, under the Option A Benefit Judith Benesh, spouse ofRoger Benesh, passed away on Oclober 22,2024. Ms. Benesh was collecting the Accidental Death Option A Benefit. William Taylor made a motion to accept these deaths and place on file. Gregory Brewster seconded the motion. Vote: Unanimous 4-0 Discussion of Office Matters: The discussion ofthe Refund,/Rollover/Transfer process with the School Department is tabled for the next board meeting. The Marlborough Retirement Office notified the Board of their purchase of two desk scanners, which will help the office run more efficiently. The Retirement Office notified the Board ofthe upcoming MACRS Fall Conference and acknowledged that the ofiice will be closed from December 86 through December I I'h, and re-open on Thursday, December 126. William Taylor seconded the motion Yote: Unanimous 4-0. MISC. Correspondence: No Miscellaneous Corre spondence for the month of October New Business/Old Busiress: The Board voted on the utilization ofABL Tech Mortali tv Verification Services. William Tavlor made a motion to utilize ABL Tech and reconvene six months before the three-year contract ends, to discuss new pricing, and decide if we will be extending the contract. Roben Gustafson seconded the motion.
