Budget Hearing

GREEN LAKE COUNTY, WISCONSIN VILLAGE OF MARQUETTE Budget Hearing Minutes, November 13, 2023-Board Room-Village Hall The Budget Hearing for the Village of Marquette, was called to order by President Cybul at 7:00 p.m. Present were President, Arthur Cybul, Trustee, Peter Michalos, Trustee, Tony Deiss, Village Clerk, Susan Geraldi, Treasurer, Paula Gilbertson- absent, as well as 3 citizens. Certification of Compliance with the Open Meetings Law was noted. The Budget Hearing was posted in three public places and posted on the Village Website. Motion to approve the agenda, Michalos/Deiss. Motion passed. (Unanimous) Discuss/Approve Budget: Board members and citizens present had a copy of the proposed budget. Budget items were discussed and no changes were made. After discussion a motion was made to approve the 2024 budget as presented and also to allow for the movement of funds from one category to another as needed. Michalos/Deiss. Motion passed. (Unanimous) Motion to adjourn at 7:11 p.m. Deiss/Michalos. Motion passed.
