Village of Marquette Green Lake County, Wisconsin Regular Meeting Minutes, December 11, 2023 Call to Order The regular meeting of the Village Board, for the Village of Marquette, was called to order by President Cybul at 7:00 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Roll Call Roll Call: President-Art Cybul-present Clerk-Susan Geraldi-present Trustee-Peter Michalos-present Treasurer- Paula Gilbertson-present Trustee-Tony Deiss-present There were 2 citizens in attendance. Certification of Compliance with the Open Meetings Law Certification of Compliance with the Open Meetings law: Agenda notice was posted in three public places-Village Hall, kiosks at the Post Office and Truck Garage, also posted on the Village Website. A resolution to change the agenda to add the change of choose date and time for caucus was made. A motion to approve the agenda was made. Diess/Michalos. Motion passed. (unanimous) Approval of Budget and Regular Minutes sent to Board members President Cybul opened for any questions regarding the Budget and regular meeting minutes and a correction that needed to be made to the record of board votes needed to be changed to unanimous. A motion to approve the meeting minutes with corrections was made. Michalos/ Diess. Motion passed. (Unanimous) Reading and Approval of Treasurer’s Report The Treasurer’s report was read. Motion to approve the Treasurer’s report as read and close the Horicon Bank account. Diess/Michalos. Motion passed. (unanimous) Approve Payment of Bills Approve payment of Bills: Presented for payment were vouchers 9820-9840 in the amount of $6598.80 plus the $3,500.00 for the maintained balance and utilities for the Grand total of $10,198.80. Motion to pay the bills aa presented and transfer from the appropriate accounts the amount of $11,500.00 to the General Fund. The motion to approve the bills, Deiss/ Michalos, Motion passed. (unanimous) Citizen Comments - Time Limits Correction of last month’s minutes Discuss/Approve NSF check charge and other returned fees with be $35.00 and if fees not paid when taxes are finally paid, they will be added to next year’s taxes. Motion to approve. Deiss/Michalos (unanimous) Chief Election Inspectors and Election Poll Workers for 2024 list approved. Motion to approve, Michalos/Deiss (unanimous) Approve Treasurers transfer for Tax Settlements for January and February 2024. Motion to approve, Michalos/Deiss (unanimous) Approve date and time for caucus which will be January 8, 2024 at 7:00pm. Motion to approve, Deiss/Michalos (unanimous) Board Reminders / Updates Lawn mowing bids. Several company’s names and contact numbers will be given to Tony Deiss to contact regarding bids for 2024.
