September 19, 2023 Joint Meeting with School Board A Joint meeting of the Council of the City of Martinsville, Virginia and Martinsville School Board was held on September 19, 2023 at the Martinsville High School – Commons Area, at 6:00 PM. Council Members in attendance included Mayor LC Jones, Vice Mayor Aaron Rawls, Kathy Lawson, Lawrence Mitchell and Tammy Pearson along with members of the school board. The meeting was called to order by the School Board and discussion was held regarding shared goals.
