Town Board Minutes June 25, 2021 Special Town Council Meeting, Town of Massena Date/Time: Friday, June 25, 2021 at 1:00 PM Location: Massena Town Hall ATTENDANCE: MEMBER PRESENT ABSENT Supervisor Steve O’Shaughnessy X Councilwoman Susan Bellor X Councilman Samuel Carbone, Jr. X Councilman Robert Elsner X Councilman Albert Nicola X ALSO PRESENT: Natalie Sweatland, Deputy Town Clerk; Vernon Brand, Assessor The Supervisor called the meeting to order at 1:00 PM and announced he would dispense with the regular order of the agenda. Resolution 89 2021 Accepting the Counteroffer from St. Lawrence Plaza Associates, Inc. as it Relates to their Assessment, and Authorizing Mark McNamara from Barclay Damon to Sign the Stipulation Agreement on behalf of the Town of Massena Motion by Councilman Elsner Vote: Second by: Councilwoman Bellor Aye Nay Abstain Absent Steve O’Shaughnessy X Susan Bellor X Samuel Carbone, Jr. X Robert Elsner X Albert Nicola X Motion is Carried Resolution 90 - 2021 Setting a Public Hearing on July 21, 2021 at 4:30 PM in Room 30 of the Massena Town Hall Relating to a Lot line Adjustment on the Haverstock Road and State Route 37 Motion by Councilman Nicola Vote: Second by: Councilman Elsner Aye Nay Abstain Absent Steve O’Shaughnessy X Susan Bellor X Samuel Carbone, Jr. X Robert Elsner X Albert Nicola X Motion is Carried. Old Business: The Town Supervisor reported that he had received an email from Aaron (Jarvis) regarding the additional funding for the water replacement project. The USDA will need additional information, and the Supervisor will forward the list of additional, required items to the Town Board members. Next Regular Board Meeting will be July 21 at 4:30 PM Executive Session: Councilman Elsner, seconded by Councilman Nicola to conduct an Executive Session to discuss Proposed Litigation Regarding the Hospital. The Board went into executive Session at 1:16 PM. Open Session: The Board returned to open session at 1:36 PM.
