Call to Order: The Supervisor called the meeting to order at 4:30 PM and then led the Pledge of Allegiance. Announcements / Notifications: The Town Supervisor addressed the Town Board and Community Members to express our deepest sympathies to the Coupal and Perez families regarding the tragic accident that took the lives of Real (Frenchie) Coupal and Loretta Perez. Presentations/Discussions: Matt Cooper of Barton & Loguidice gave a presentation on the possible next phase of the DWSRF Water Project. The possible next phase is the Grant Funded Bipartisan Infrastructure Law General Supplemental Funds, Border Water District Project. Whereas the original terms of the Trustees of the Massena Public Library (hereinafter “Library Board”) were set up in 1935 with the purpose being to stagger each five-year term to ensure that only one term would expire each year, & Whereas, having reviewed its files, the Massena Town Board wishes to correct discrepancies with the terms of the Library Board and restate the terms of the Library Board, Now, Therefore, be it resolved, that the Town Board of the Town of Massena restates the terms of the Library Board seats and identifies the current, seated members of the Massena Public Library Board of Trustees: Term Current Trustee January 1, 2020-December 31, 2024, Kay Romeo January 1, 2021-December 31, 2025, Jennifer Stokes January 1, 2022-December 31, 2026, Joseph Savoca January 1, 2023-December 31, 2027, Linda McDonald January 1, 2024-December 31, 2028, Patricia Ryan Kay Romeo shall be reappointed to the Massena Public Library Board of Trustees for the 5-year term beginning January 1st, 2025, and ending December 31st, 2029.
