FINANCE AND PURCHASING COMMITTEE
MINUTES
May 27, 2025 at 6:20 PM

1. Call to Order/Roll Call: The Finance and Purchasing Committee meeting was called to order on
Tuesday, May 27, 2025, by member Courtney Ray at 6:20 p.m. Attending members were Rick
Noe, Barb Hoilien, and Courtney Ray. City Administrator Daron Haugh, and Municipal Court Clerk
Carole Wolff were also present.
2. Minutes: Motion made by Ray and seconded by Noe, to approve the minutes of May 13, 2025.
Motion carried.
3. Vouchers: Motion made by Hoilien, seconded by Noe, to recommend Council approval of the
vouchers totaling $244,907.26. Motion carried.
4. Ford F-250 Fire Department Command Vehicle Purchase: Motion made by Hoilien, seconded
by Ray, to recommend Council approval of $52,419 (plus fees) for the purchase of a Ford F-250
from Rudig-Jenson Ford. Motion carried.
5. Bid for the Hatch Public Library Renovation Project: Motion made by Hoilien, seconded by
Noe, to recommend Council approval of the Market & Johnson Bid in the amount of $2,429,500.
Motion carried.
6. North Side Construction Project Loan: Motion made by Noe, seconded by Hoilien, to
recommend Council approval of converting the note to a 15-year fixed loan through the Bank of
Mauston at a rate of 5.4%. Motion carried.
7. Adjourn: Motion made by Hoilien, seconded by Ray, to adjourn. Motion carried at 6:29 p.m.
