PLAN COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES
September 11, 2025 at 6:30 PM
303 Mansion Street Mauston, WI
1. Call to Order/Roll Call: The Mauston Plan Commission met in the Council Chambers of Mauston
City Hall and was called to order by Mayor Darryl Teske at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 11,
2025. Members present were Brandy Ellsworth, Phil Harrison, Leonard Kluge, and Mark Messer,
arriving at 6:35 p.m. Also present was City of Mauston Zoning Administrator Val Nelson and Sean
Lentz from Ehlers.
2. Minutes: Motion by Kluge, seconded by Harrison to approve the minutes of September 4, 2025.
Motion carried by voice vote.
3. Slama Equipment Conditional Use - Interstate Sign: Motion by Kluge, seconded by Messer, to
recommend Council Approval regarding the Interstate Sign Plan and Conditional Use Resolution
2025-P-14. Motion carried by voice vote.
4. Resolution No. 2025-P-13 approving an Amendment to the Project Plan and Boundaries of
Tax Incremental District No. 6: Sean Lentz from Ehlers suggested opening a public hearing to
discuss the item. Motion by Ellsworth, seconded by Teske, to open the public hearing. Motion
carried by voice vote. The Project Plan was then discussed. Motion by Teske, seconded by Kluge,
to close public hearing. Motion carried by voice vote and the public hearing was closed.
5. Adjourn: Motion by Teske, seconded by Ellsworth to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried by voice
vote. Meeting adjourned at 7:24 p.m.
